Greg Lane Every day I take a morning prayer walk, whether it's sunny and 90 degrees outside or 35 degrees and raining (or 15 degrees and icy!). I take my iPhone with me to "photo document" each morning walk. Sometimes there's plenty to see and take photos of, and sometimes it's difficult to find anything photo-worthy, but I try to take at least one photo every day. After my morning walk, I download the best photos of the day to my computer and usually add a scripture verse at the bottom and post to my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MyMorningWalksWithGod. I've been doing this for over 6 years now so I've grown quite a large collection of morning photos. Along with the photos, I also post inspirational writings from my morning walks to my Facebook page. I've been writing now for over 10 years, and a compilation of those writings can be found in my 2 daily devotionals "My Morning Walks with God, Volumes 1 and 2" which are available on Amazon, or by going to MyMorningWalksWithGod.com. It is my hope that some of the photos I share will bring peace in the midst of turmoil and add a little quiet solitude to people's lives even in the midst of the noisy busyness that they find themselves in. In some of my Scripture photos you will notice that I frequently use one of my favorite scriptures... Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God." It is in the stillness of each morning that I feel closest to God and experience His peace. I hope that I've captured some of that peace in the photos that are displayed on this site.
